To make you will need:

  • yellow, orange, and green pipe cleaners
  • pencil, chopstick, or skewer
  • scissors
  • hot glue
  • glue gun

Begin by twisting the green pipe cleaner around your pencil, skewer, or chopstick.

Twist several so that the entire piece if covered. The idea is to have it look like a green stem. Set aside.

Cut your yellow pipe cleaners in half. Take each half and start twisting it into a coil. You want to twist nice and tight.

Create 5 coils using the yellow pipe cleaners.

To create the center of your daffodil, you will use the same process except this time you will use the orange colored pipe cleaner or another contrasting color.

Prepare to assemble the coils. Take some hot glue and start gluing the yellow coils into a circle or bloom shape as shown.

Add some glue to the back of the orange coil and press it to the center of the yellow arrangement.

Once the bloom is dry and all coils are in place, add a generous amount of glue to the back and press it to the top of the green stem. Allow to dry.
