Peeling Tape For Toddlers

Estimated read time 2 min read

It’s funny how kids love the simplest things. Harvey got very excited about this activity!

He practiced vocab by saying “stuck!”, and really liked the cool sound it made when the tape came up. He used both hands, sometimes at the same time, to pull up simple strips. He also had a lot of fun pulling up toys, and then played with them.

Materials:

  • Packing tape
  • Optional small toys

Cut off pieces of tape 2 to 3 inches of length. Fold a little bit of the tape over on one end for better grabbing, stick your tape to the table surface or even on a door. Show your child how fun it is to peel tape off.

Tape down small toys! Your child will have to remove the tape before they can get the toy.

This is the perfect activity for when you are trying to work at your desk or are on a phone call and your little one is pestering you.

This idea isn’t JUST for 1 year olds!

There are 40 more activities in the book and ALL include an activity variation AND “As They Grow” section, making this a Grow-With-Them book.

Activities are suited to 1, 2, 3 and even 4 year olds!

You’ll really get your money’s worth!
