I am always looking for ways to improve the cutting skills of my children. This super simple monster creation tray is another example of how uncomplicated activities should be when you have limited time to prep activities for the kids!
Supplies you will need:
- Construction paper
- glue stick
- scissors
- googly eyes
- tray to contain activity
Precut a few squares, rectangles, circles for the kids to start with. Cut a page of construction paper in half and ask them to create a silly monster of their choosing!
Some children might need a description of what a silly monster might look like. They can be blobs with many eyes, tall with one eye or with many many arms.
Whichever your little artist decides to create I’m sure it will be an expression of lovely art that is full of cutting and sticking skills! 😉
Display the art work proudly.
