Is your Preschooler ready for Kindergarten? Take the Quiz

Schooling generally happens by age not by ability. The child turns x amount and we send them off to the grade they should be in.

But is your child really ready for that next step?

In this quiz you will be asked some questions that will help you determine if your child is indeed ready for the next step. I also provide some recommendations to improve each skill if you answer NO to any of the questions.

Take the quiz, do some of the recommendations then come back to re-take the quiz if you needed to work on certain skills.

The quiz however is not the b-all of if your child is actually going to do well. Certain schools might teach skills as soon as they arrive in their new classes others might expect these skills to be already taught. It all depends on the school. If you have any concerns it is best to reach out to the school in question.

I also have to caution that certain signs can be present for speech delays or learning delays. These you should get evaluated by a professional. Please don’t ignore them.
