Most craft stores sell the tiny terracotta flower pots all year, so you should not have any trouble locating them! For the details, craft foam, felt, or paper works just fine. Just use what you have on hand!

Begin by cutting out the feathers of your turkey. Cut out simple elongated ovals from your foam, felt, or paper. Choose a variety of 5 to 7 colors. Set aside.

Start crafting the face of your turkey. You will need a small red gobbler, an orange triangle for a beak, and optional twiggy style legs as shown.

Start assembling your turkey. To do this, turn the flower pot over so it is resting on the mouth of the pot. Glue the feathers to the back side of the turkey. Hold in place until dry.

Assemble the face. Add your googly eyes, followed by the beak with the gobbler tucked underneath.

Finish your turkey by adding small feet right to the front. Hold in place until dry.

Once all of your pieces are dry, your flower pot turkey is ready to be displayed. He would look so cute used as a holiday place setting!

Gather your flower pot and other crafting supplies and give this sweet flower pot turkey craft a try!
