Creation: Animals & Man – No Sew Quiet Book for Toddlers

Day 6: Animals and Man.

For the man and animals page I went for a bit of a silhouette type thing. Here we have an animal (my one kids says its a dog the other a cat!) and a man.

On this page the aim is to get the figures UNDER the grass.

The grass itself is hot glued down on the page with the cut bits free for lifting. The animal and man both have velcro under them. See velcro tips from day 3

For my preschooler this lifting the grass business so super easy as I expected but for my toddler who the book is made for lifting the grass was a bit of a challenge with just one hand!

Those blades of grass kept slipping past her little fingers. But she got it in the end and the animal was added to the page.

Yet another super simple yet fun page to talk about the story of creation with your little ones!
